Private Markets Investment Management, Associate Private Equity

Job Information

Our Private Markets Investment Management division is looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial thinking Associate to join our Private Equity Fund Investment Team (Primaries) based either in London or Zurich area (Pfäffikon SZ).

This role includes the following activities:

  • Take ownership in the Primary investment process, incl. sourcing, screening, due diligence, and monitoring of Private Equity fund investments, incl. presentation of findings to LGT CP’s Investment Committee;
  • Coverage of investment universe, including regular interaction with counterparties such as Private Equity managers and intermediaries, attendance of Annual General Meetings, in-depth assessment of underlying portfolio companies;
  • Support the team in originating and evaluating secondary and co-investment opportunities;
  • Contribute to overall development of the multi-manager Private Equity practice.

Requirements

  • University degree, preferably in finance or business from a top-tier university and an excellent academic track record;
  • 2 - 4 years of relevant work experience, ideally from a similar position in Alternative Asset Management / Private Equity Fund of Funds;
  • Excellent analytical and financial skills;
  • Strong excel / financial modeling skills;
  • Proficient written and verbal English language skills, any other language is an advantage;
  • Self-starter personality with ability to work well in a multi-cultural team and under time pressure;
  • Exceptional written, interpersonal, and communication skills incl. ability to interact confidently and professionally with senior industry professionals.
