As announced today by LGT, the Prince of Liechtenstein Foundation has appointed Juan Bosch and Mark Jordy, two seasoned investment experts, to the Board of Trustees of LGT Group Foundation, effective 27 April 2016.
Juan Bosch is an Argentinian citizen, holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and is a Fulbright Alumni. He began his career in the corporate banking business at Citibank in Buenos Aires and then moved on to work at Group Santander, New York, where among other mandates, he was responsible for supporting the development of the Asset Management business. In 1997, he moved to Compass Group in New York, a leading independent Asset Manager and Investment Advisor in Latin America, as a Senior Portfolio Manager. In 1997, he co-founded the Argentinian affiliate of Compass, which he led successfully before stepping down from the operational business in 2010; as a Member of the Board of Directors, he continues to be closely associated with the group. He also serves as a Director of Investment Funds at Tremblant Capital, which operates in the alternative investment segment in New York.
Mark Jordy is a British and US citizen and resides in London. He holds an MBA with distinction from Cornell University, in Ithaca, New York. He spent his early career in trust banking and as an investment consultant, and in 1993, joined one of the largest global investment companies, Wellington Management Company, headquartered in Boston, where he remained until 2014. During his over twenty-year career at Wellington, Mark played a leading role in the successful establishment and development of the business in Asia-Pacific (Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, China, and Australia) as well as in Europe. He served as Chief Executive of the UK affiliate, was a member of several affiliate boards of directors, and served on a number of group level committees.

Prince Philipp von und zu Liechtenstein, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of LGT said: "We are very pleased that Juan Bosch and Mark Jordy, two well-known and exceptionally experienced individuals, will be joining us as members of our Board of Trustees. These new additions to the Board will substantially increase our expertise in the asset management business. In particular, we will be gaining specific expertise in the growing Latin American and Asian markets, which will be extremely valuable for the further implementation of our international growth strategy."
The new members of the Board of Trustees will replace Sir Ronal Grierson and Dr. Dominik Koechlin, who passed away in October 2014 and July 2015 respectively. These former Board members made an important contribution to the successful development of LGT, and LGT will honor their memories.
