“We are very pleased to receive these accolades. They demonstrate that renowned and independent selection committees such as the Financial Times are impressed by our comprehensive client service, our excellent investment management competence and our outstanding products and services”, says Norbert Biedermann, CEO of LGT Bank. In addition to the designation as best private bank in Liechtenstein, LGT was also given a “highly commended” rating in socially responsible investing.
The Global Private Banking Awards, presented by the Financial Times publications Private Wealth Magazine and The Banker, were held for the seventh time this year. They rank among the most prestigious awards internationally for the private banking sector. A total of 170 institutions from over 63 countries around the world competed for the awards. A distinguished jury composed of 15 international financial and economic experts evaluated criteria including the business and growth strategies of the institutions and their client relationship management, and examined the extent to which product strategy is aligned with client needs.
LGT regularly receives top marks following reviews of its advisory services and product quality. “These accolades confirm to us that we are on the right track with our international growth strategy”, says Norbert Biedermann. “We are particularly pleased that our position as a leading provider of sustainable investments and impact investing opportunities is gaining public recognition.”
